Who doesn’t know this? The small opening of the hole has closed and already the hearing aids sound much duller than usual. Your own voice gets more reverberation and you make acquaintance with the so-called occlusion effect. Remedy is the Cedis Ventbrush brushes from the Cedis hearing aid cleaning program.
They are available in 2 different strengths, which you select depending on the size of the additional hole. The Ventbrush brush head has a length of 2.5 cm and ensures that you get deep into the hole. Do not clean the vent holes with hard objects, especially in in-ear devices. These devices often have a ventilation tube glued into them that can be injured by hard objects.
Application Notes:
Gently insert the special brush into the extra hole of the earpiece to clean it from cerumen or other debris.
When cleaning in-the-ear hearing aids, make sure the brush is not too large. Otherwise, a pinched ventilation tube could become dislodged due to excessive pressure.
